Kairos 52 strengthens Christian faith

Fairfield Prep’s 52nd Kairos Retreat took place April 1-4, 2014, at the Holy Family Passionist Retreat Center in West Hartford, CT. Thirty two juniors and seniors took part in the retreat. They were accompanied by fourteen team members comprised of seniors and faculty/staff. The Kairos retreat provides a special time with the Lord- “The Lord’s time.” This Christian experience focuses on prayer, reflection, friendship and community. Student candidates gave of themselves generously and by the end of the retreat were certainly committed to the Kairos spirit. A big thank you goes out to the student leaders Rector Colin Lomnitzer, Assistant Rector AJ Coppotelli, Curry Bloom, Will Corona, Dan Donahue, Kevin Gillooly, Sam Gilmore and Tim Kiernan. Special thanks to the adult leaders Tom Cunningham, Tim Dee, Sandra Gizzi, Elliott Gualtiere, Fr. Ryan, S.J., and Tom Shea.
The Kairos Retreat Program began at Fairfield Prep in 1996. This retreat program has impacted hundreds of students over the years. If you are a junior or senior at Prep do not miss out on this special opportunity for prayer, reflection and community. There will be three Kairos Retreats next year (November 18-21, February 24-27 and March 24-27). Please plan ahead. See Mr. Gualtiere for details.
