Prep offers 35 Athletic Teams, 17 Varsity Sports & 60 Coaches
Jesuit education stresses a care for the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. The Fairfield Prep athletic program includes 35 total teams in 17 sports allowing for nearly 75% of our student body to participate in one or more sports at Prep. Our affiliation with Fairfield University allows our student-athletes to utilize Division I quality facilities including the new Rafferty Stadium for Football, Soccer, and Lacrosse; Alumni Diamond for baseball; and Alumni Hall for our Basketball teams.
Our teams consistently compete in State tournament competitions across all three athletic seasons. More importantly, our alumni often reference their time on the playing fields at Prep as some of the most formative experiences in high school. Much of that is thanks to the high-quality coaches who understand that our athletics program is an integral piece of the education for the many who participate.
